EXISTING SOFTWARE

Our existing suite of software applications can be divided into three separate categories: front office; middle office and back office. The applications have been designed to suit the needs of a specific financial business. The following gives a brief description of each application. For further details or a demonstration please contact your Moytex representative.

Position Management System
This tool is designed for use at Hedge Funds. It combines position and risk calculations with component P&L. The key to component P&L is capturing extraneous P&L like dividend payments, accrued interest or borrow cost and combining that with reliable real-time market data. For credit derivatives Moytex uses the only source of clean market data: Markit. Analytics are integrated from another one of our partners, Numerix. Hedge Funds also have the option to integrate their own Analytics.

Client Relationship Management Tool
This tool has been implemented across multiple businesses. It is used to track detailed business and personal information on each client of a particular firm. It also integrates upcoming events into a calendar tool. The calendar tool tracks upcoming social and business events and also outlines the clients that will be attending and have attended each event.

Trade Confirmation and Reporting System (TCR)
After a trade is executed, there are several important regulatory and business requirements that need to be fulfilled: confirming the details of a trade, reporting the trade to the relevant exchange, and running detailed reports on trading activity. All of these activities are captured in the Moytex TCR system which integrates Reuters and Bloomberg systems and also uses the FIX messaging interface to communicate with other third party systems.

Moytex Market Maker
Designed primarily with the inter-dealer broker in mind, this application creates an internal trading exchange. The application has been designed for the OTC derivatives market, both Fixed Income and Equities. Securities are using a pricing board system where bid and offer prices are posted for all users to see. This creates an internal OTC exchange.

Online Exchange Trader
Like the Moytex Market Maker system, the online exchange is used to create a market. Users interface securely through the web and post their prices online for each product category. Depending on their permissionings users have the ability to hit a bid and lift an offer using the system. This tool would primarily be used by an inter-dealer broker to allow each of their clients to trade with each other securely online without the need for voice intervention. The system also protects market transparency; if a one market maker posts a price, other market maker will not know who entered this price.

TAILORED SOLUTIONS

In addition to its suite of existing software systems, Moytex Financial Software offers the ability to produce custom made solutions for clients. With robust infrastructure and software standards we are well-equipped to design tailor made software solutions in these cases. When designing these types of systems our main focus is on rapid prototyping, and the process is as follows:

Product Life-Cycle: developed in three stages
Stage 1
- Gather requirements from clients
- Produce Specification Document based on requirements
- Develop rapid prototype for client based on initial specifications
Stage 2
- Receive feedback from Client regarding Prototype and complete final specification document
- Set short deliverable dates and get constant feedback from client throughout process
Stage 3
- Develop final product and deliver to client
- Provide on-going support
- Provide on-going product enhancement

24-hour software development life-cycle
With offices around the globe, Moytex is able to deploy a 24-hour software development life-cycle. In extreme market circumstances, our clients often require applications to be developed ahead of their competition. We do this with a combination of rapid prototyping and application development. A single team spread across the globe will work together to deploy the application. As the working day comes to a close in the U.S,. our offices in India begin theirs; as work is completed in India, it is then handed back over to the U.S.
